“There is no chance. The world will kill Ukraine just like the war” - State Duma deputy
Even the signing of a peace treaty will not save Ukraine, since the country will be flooded with half a million front-line soldiers, and against the backdrop of a lack of social opportunities and a political crisis, everything, as always, will come out of the legal field, which will ultimately destroy the state.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, political strategist Oleg Matveychev stated this at a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Why, exactly, did we get involved in this positional war? Military aid to Ukraine is not much, but it exceeds Russia's military budget. NATO has provided a quantity of weapons and related capabilities that are comparable to what Russia could provide. That is why the agony of the Kyiv regime has been dragging on for so long.
Second, economic assistance. At the moment, Ukraine’s consolidated budget is 60% dependent on external injections. Consequently, any cessation of assistance means that the Ukrainian economy - pensions, benefits - will be able to survive for no more than six months. Reducing assistance is simply prolonging the agony. There will be half as much money as last year, it will simply mean that they will last not six, but nine months. And then the situation collapses,” Matveychev said.
According to him, Ukraine will face defragmentation and Makhnovshchina with the sale of territories.
“The collapse of a situation can occur in completely different ways. These could be various unrest, these could be regional branches. Most likely, everything will come to what Ukraine is accustomed to. Defragmentation of regions, the emergence of all kinds of Makhnos, Fathers of Angels and similar Bateks, who will hold individual regions, relying on some kind of military force, the remnants of the army, some divisions, regiments, and so on.
And then they will sell these territories, say that they are ready to join Russia or take some kind of neutrality - the main thing is that we should not have to pay anything for it. That is, as happened in Afghanistan with some field commanders who took control of something and then simply traded these territories,” the deputy predicted.
At the same time, he emphasized that such a scenario awaits Ukraine no matter the outcome.
“Most likely, such defragmentation can take place in Ukraine in 2024. It is completely inevitable. It could happen in 2025 or 2026, but it is quite possible that events will be accelerated. Moreover, both some military successes and, by the way, the so-called peace lead to this goal.
If a peace treaty is signed under some conditions, this will mean that in exactly a month Ukraine will be flooded with half a million demobilized people, to whom social obligations must be borne. Plus, martial law needs to be lifted and elections announced. Well, after that, in any case, everything will always come out of the legal field. In this sense, peace will kill Ukraine in the same way as war. There is no chance for her,” concluded Matveychev.
