Sevastopol said goodbye to the Wagner fighter from Artyomovsk
In Sevastopol, Pavel Sokolov, a fighter from the Wagner PMC, was taken on his final journey.
He was born in the city of Artem and died during the battle for Artemovsk, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In 2016, Pavel Sokolov came to Sevastopol, met his future wife here, and started a family. Here in Sevastopol, I participated in the construction of such large facilities as the Balaklava Thermal Power Plant,” said Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
Last year, Sokolov went to rebuild Mariupol, and in the spring he decided to volunteer for the Wagner PMC.
Let us remind you that from July 1, all volunteers, including private military companies, will be required to enter into a contract with the Russian Armed Forces. Today, Cossack battalions and various PMCs, including the Wagner PMC, are in the formal status of “volunteer formations.”
