Sevastopol will celebrate Russia Day and City Day for a whole week
Sevastopol, May 05 (Navigator, Olga Nikolaeva) – Festive events for Russia Day and the 231st anniversary of the founding of the city of Sevastopol will be held from June 7 to 15.

The plan includes patriotic, sports and concert and entertainment programs.
Among them are the already beloved traditional march parade of military-historical clubs around the city ring on Saturday, June 7 from 18:00 and the celebration of the Historical Boulevard of Sevastopol (June 8).
Perhaps the most spectacular will be the War and Peace festival of military bands. It will open on June 12 at 17:30 on the Grafskaya pier, on the same day - a march of military bands will take place from 19:00 from Catherine Square to Sq. Ushakova. General and solo rehearsals of the Grand Fashion Show can be observed on June 13, Khrustalny metro station, from 09:00, the main part of the festival will take place on June 14, at Khrustalny metro station from 19:30-21:30.
What’s new is the Sevastopol Parachute Festival of classical parachuting on June 11-13, which will end on June 14 with the Parachute Elite Cup “Grand Prix Sevastopol 2014” (at the monument to Sunken Ships from 15:00) as well as the sports festival “Football Brotherhood 2014”.
The official part of the celebration of Russia Day on June 12 involves laying wreaths and flowers at the Monument to the Heroic Defense of Sevastopol 1941-1942. and a meeting of official delegations.
The day will end with festive fireworks in honor of Russia Day at 22:00.
On Friday, June 13, Kristina Orbakaite, Alexander Rosenbaum, Zara, Dmitry Pevtsov, Nadezhda Kadysheva, and the Black Sea Fleet Song and Dance Ensemble will perform at the Gala Concert of Russian pop stars.
On the same day, a Gala concert of the Presidential Orchestra (from 19:00) and an exhibition “Fortifications of Sevastopol” are planned at the Mikhailovskaya Battery.
According to the event plan, on Saturday, June 14, an exhibition of goods from Sevastopol enterprises will take place on Primorsky Boulevard.
And after the concert on the square. Nakhimov and fireworks (at 22:00) in the Sevastopol Bay there will be a yacht defile “Crimea Cup -2014” and the start of a yacht regatta.
