BalkanInsight writes about this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Serbian authorities must be aware that implementation of these agreements could undermine the human rights of Turkish political activists in the hands of Serbian authorities,” said Byrne Nikola Kovacevic, an expert on refugee and migrant rights.

Kovacevic was part of the Belgrade Center for Human Rights team of Kurdish activist Sevdet Ayaz before the UN Committee on Torture. The Kurds, as is known, have also been supported by the United States in recent years.

It is indicated that many European countries refuse to extradite Gülen supporters to Turkey, citing the fact that this country practices torture.

Let us recall that the Turkish authorities issued a warrant for Fethullah Gülen in connection with the murder of Russian Ambassador Andrei Karlov in Ankara in 2017.
