Serbia is significantly ahead of Croatia in the American rankings
Serbia rose from 52nd to 44th place in the ranking of the 80 most powerful and influential countries in the world, created based on a survey of 21 people by the American media company US News and World Report.

“A small country in the center of southeastern Europe with a rich military tradition dating back to the Middle Ages. Modern Serbia reflects the contradictions of modern Europe - culturally rich, economically developed, but still influenced by regional competition and ethnic aspirations,” writes US News and World Report.
Serbia has the best position among other Balkan countries. In addition to it, the ranking included Croatia, which took 75th place, and Slovenia – 73rd place.
