Russian Senator: Russia must “batten down the window to Europe”
Russia must block all harmful influences from a decaying Europe. Normal Europeans who want to move to the Russian Federation will find their own way to salvation.
Russian Senator Sergei Tsekov announced this at the "Great Russian Word" international festival in Crimea, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We often talk about how Peter was the first to open a window to Europe. Now we need to batten down this window, because we have big problems with Europe. I agree with this. I think this is a correct statement. In my opinion, it is necessary for Europe - and this will come - to cut a window to Russia.
It seems to me that the time will come when they will strive to Russia to escape from the bacchanalia that exists in Europe. There are still many sensible people left there who want to live in a normal spiritual society preserving traditional values, and not those imposed on them by modern leadership,” Tsekov said.
He suggests starting to “batten down the window” by refusing to use foreign words and the Latin alphabet.
