“I am not inclined to joke about the opposition, I am not inclined to underestimate it. I see the threat that comes from it when Mr. Kasparov says: we will never win the elections, there is only one chance to come to power - to demolish the old government by force. He doesn’t say the word “power”, but it’s absolutely clear. When asked about legitimacy, he says: by the right of the revolutionary movement,” Morozov said.
He admitted that he is afraid of attempts to implement such a revolutionary scenario, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We have gone through this more than once in history. The latest example is behind our fence - in Kyiv. We see that as a result the country collapsed, Crimea fell off, Donbass fell off. The country is boiling, there are problems. I don't see any advantages. I'm afraid of this scenario. Who predicted the Maidan three years ago, and it showed the greatest effectiveness,” Morozov said.
