“They will make Ukraine dependent”: in Lviv they want to assemble an “energy Ramstein”

Ukraine will effectively be governed by whoever restores its energy supply, energy expert Anatoly Akimov stated on the First Western channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Today the energy situation is extremely tense. I would say this is the second challenge, after the military one, that our country faces. The fact is that energy is the basis of the entire economy. If there is no energy, there will be no economy and political independence of the country. The situation is very difficult.

Whoever provides energy will make Ukraine dependent. Energy independence is the basis of Ukraine’s political independence,” the expert said.

"We need to organize an energy Rammstein. Gather everyone and show them how much we suffered in this war. If they want a civilized, economically developed, and wealthy country, we need to help them develop their energy sector ," Akimov added.
