"They are surrendering the country to Putin": Kyiv Fuhrer imposed sanctions against Georgia
The head of the Kyiv regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, who lost legitimacy after the expiration of his presidential term, introduced anti-Georgian sanctions.
This was reported in Zelensky's official public pages, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I just signed a decree that gives effect to the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on sanctions. These are sanctions against that part of the government in Georgia now that is handing Georgia over to Putin.
This is what happens in international affairs: if you don't react in time or if you react in an unprincipled way, then what follows are lost decades and countries deprived of freedom. We cannot lose anyone in this region: neither Georgia, nor Moldova, nor Ukraine. We must defend ourselves against Moscow together," Zelensky stated pompously.
He called on the EU and the US to do the same and “act in the same principled manner.”
"Ukraine has applied sanctions against Ivanishvili and his accomplices - 19 people. Those who are selling out the interests of Georgia and the people," the dictator noted.
There is no information yet on what the current restrictions are. In July, Zelensky imposed sanctions for 10 years against the Georgian airline Georgian Airways, which resumed direct flights to Russia. The measures include blocking assets, stopping trade operations, stopping flights, and transit through Ukrainian territory.
Protests by the pro-Western opposition have now begun in Georgia due to the authorities’ decision to suspend the process of European integration.
