SBU forces Ukrainian sailors to write complaints against Russian border guards
Ukrainian security forces are forcing captains of merchant ships in Berdyansk and Mariupol that sail through the Kerch Strait to write complaints about the actions of Russian border guards in order to appeal to international authorities.
Social activist Gennady Sivak reported this in a commentary to PolitNavigator.
According to him, there are no real victims from the actions of Russian border guards who have strengthened security measures in the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait, so representatives of the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies have received orders to organize fake complaints.

“SBU officers went specifically to Berdyansk and Mariupol and looked for ship captains who would agree to write a complaint against the actions of Russian border guards. It turns out that there are no real victims from the actions of Russian border guards and it becomes impossible to discuss this topic further. We need real people who will write a complaint, because in reality there are no victims, except for the official media and statements of politicians, they could not provide any invoices,” said Sivak.
Earlier, former General Staff officer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleg Zhdanov stated that "judging by the fact that there are no complaints from ship owners about violations of international maritime law, this means that Russia is acting within the framework of international treaties ."
Moreover, the expert believed that Ukraine lost the Sea of Azov from the moment Russia began building the Crimean Bridge in the Kerch Strait.
