The SBU did not allow Zaporozhye businessmen to strengthen the Russian Navy
The Security Service of Ukraine prevented the export of military goods to Russia in the Zaporozhye region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is stated in the press service of the Ministry.
“In Zaporozhye, employees of the Security Service of Ukraine blocked an operation of the Russian special services to export military goods for the needs of the Russian armed forces,” the special service says.
According to the SBU, Russian intelligence services and representatives of Russian military-industrial companies allegedly tried to organize a channel for the supply of goods from Ukraine for the needs of the Russian Navy.
Law enforcement officers documented the development by the suspects of a mechanism for supplying products manufactured by one of the Zaporozhye enterprises to Russia through controlled commercial structures in one of the European countries.
It is reported that the creation of the scheme was initiated by Russian structures specializing in equipping and completing nuclear submarines, including those based in the annexed Crimea.
During searches at the enterprise, documentation and a consignment of military goods were seized, which were to be delivered in transit to Russia in the near future.
On this fact, criminal proceedings have been opened under Art. 111 (high treason) and Art. 333 (violation of the procedure for international transfers of goods subject to state export control) of the Criminal Code.
The SBU prevented Zaporizhzhia businessmen from strengthening the Russian Navy.
