“There are currently 200 people behind bars suspected of terrorism and sabotage,” he said.
Nalyvaichenko clarified that 15 people have been convicted recently.
However, the commander of the “St. Mary” battalion, Dmitry Linko, who was present in the studio, said that 200 arrested and 15 convicted were too few.
Linko gave an example when Ukrainian fighters in Donbass detained gunners, but the court released them. “They are making up reasons - they were detained incorrectly, without a protocol,” the battalion commander complained.
Nalyvaichenko assured that arrests will continue and cited as an example the former head of counterintelligence of the SBU from the time of Viktor Yanukovych, who will soon be convicted. The prisoner general’s main fault is that he “brought 3 groups of FSB generals” to Kyiv during the Maidan, Nalyvaichenko said.
