The place of large and well-known Russian banks in Crimea is taken by small and unknown ones, Kommersant states.

The resolution of the National Bank of Ukraine prohibits all organizations with a Ukrainian banking license from operating in the territory of Crimea. Reminds me of the publication. Therefore, the Black Sea Development Bank for Reconstruction and the Morskoy Bank, registered in Simferopol and Sevastopol, which had previously declared their readiness to work in the Russian legal field, found themselves without a Ukrainian license.

As previously reported, the Bank of Russia announced on May 6 that in accordance with the law on the financial system of Crimea and Sevastopol during the transition period, these banks can continue to operate in Crimea without a license until January 1, 2015, subject to a number of Bank of Russia conditions.
