The Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kiev extended the preventive measure in the form of detention for the People's Deputy of Ukraine Nadezhda Savchenko until July 13, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At a hearing on Tuesday, the court granted the corresponding request from the Chief Military Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
Earlier, Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Melnichuk expressed a desire to take Savchenko on bail, but he was denied this.
