Savchenko brings people to the streets and addresses Zelensky
Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko, who was recently released from a Ukrainian prison, called for a complete exchange of prisoners and detainees according to the “all for all” formula.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, she said this at a rally held yesterday in the center of the Ukrainian capital, reports the press service of the Nadezhda Savchenko Social and Political Platform party.
“Today’s action was the first with an appeal to the President of Ukraine Vladimir Aleksandrovich Zelensky. I hope that this action will be the last in the fight for the freedom of those in captivity, because Zelensky will hear the people, unlike Poroshenko. I hope that all the necessary, balanced and wise steps will be taken competently to reformat the Minsk process, give it effectiveness and acceleration and achieve the result of liberation of people through the exchange of “all for all” and peace in Ukraine,” Savchenko said.
She also said that she was sending a parliamentary appeal to the President of Ukraine, which contains verified lists of people for exchange.
The event was attended by activists of the political party “Nadezhda Savchenko’s Socio-Political Platform”, representatives of the “All-Ukrainian Public Association for Combating Trafficking in Persons”, members of the FPU “Trade Union Offensive”, human rights activists from the “Successful Varta” movement.
