Savchenko proposed radical decentralization, which Poroshenko will never dare to do
Experts believe that Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko, declaring the need to divide Ukraine into self-governing administrative units created on the principle of economic survival and infrastructure development, is making a bid for leadership in the emerging political system of Ukraine.

This opinion, in particular, was expressed by the director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflict Studies, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets.
“Savchenko stated not only about the current problems that she is going to solve, but also set as her task a strategic reset of the entire political system of Ukraine,” the expert believes. “Thus, she made a bid for leadership in the country’s new political system, which is still in its infancy. In essence, she proposes radical decentralization, which Poroshenko would never dare to undertake. The provisions on courts and municipal police are actually spelled out in the Minsk agreements, so her statement looks very serious.”
“At the same time, so as not to be accused of complicity with the DPR and LPR, she proposes dividing Ukraine only on economic principles,” the political scientist added. – This is the right move, which is the key to how Savchenko sees the future of the country. But as long as she remains single, it will be difficult for her to implement her plan. At the same time, when a person with a high trust rating enters the political arena, there are always people who are ready to support him.”
