Savchenko voiced the secret dreams of Ukrainians
Half of Ukrainians are ready to chip in for a can of gasoline to set fire to the Verkhovna Rada.
The head of the information and analytical center “Third Sector” Andrei Zolotarev said this at a press conference in Kiev, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, answering the question why they were so hung up on deputy Nadezhda Savchenko, who is being accused of a coup.

“Most opinion polls show that the current level of trust in the authorities is the level of hatred. In a country where half the population is ready to chip in for a can of gasoline for the government, a person appears who breaks such a psychological taboo - something that others talk about among themselves and in their kitchens. A figure appears who is trying to move from words to deeds,” the political scientist noted.
He also focused on the speech in the Verkhovna Rada by Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko, who effectively sentenced Savchenko.
“It turned out to be a brilliant PR speech, which will probably work to Nadezhda Savchenko’s advantage,” Zolotarev is convinced.
