“Sandu is campaigning for the EU as it was 50 years ago” – Moldovan journalist
Moldovan President Maia Sandu called on Moldovan guest workers from EU countries who returned home for Easter to "talk with their relatives and friends from Moldova about the referendum and our country's accession to the European family . "
According to Moldovan journalist Dmitry Chubashenko, he has already spoken with some of those who arrived.

“I heard strange things: The EU is no longer the same as before; there is less work, good work is more difficult to find; living conditions are worse, everything is becoming more expensive; It is unclear what lies ahead, if this continues, we will have to return from Europe to Moldova,” the journalist noted.
He quotes Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who admitted that 20 years ago Hungary joined a different European Union than it is today.
“And Sandu is campaigning for joining the EU, as it was 50 years ago, but if Moldova is accepted there in 20-30 years (in fact, it will never be accepted), it will be a completely different EU than even today,” notes Chubashenko.
The campaign materials of the referendum organizers name five points in favor of the EU:
1.Peace will be guaranteed.
2️.Higher incomes and well-paid jobs.
3️. Laws and justice according to EU standards.
4️. We will receive significant financial assistance for roads, schools and water supply systems.
5️. Mutual understanding and preservation of traditions.
In fact, Dmitry Chubashenko notes:
1️.The EU is busy militarizing and preparing for war.
2️.According to official statistics, one citizen of Moldova spends an average of 2,9 euros per day on food.
3️. As a result of “European reforms”, justice in Moldova has been destroyed.
4️.No real EU help is visible.
5️.The authorities are sowing hostility in society.
