“Starting from 2019, the Ukrainian budget may lose about two billion dollars annually from gas transit. The decision of the European Commission to expand Gazprom’s access to the Opal gas pipeline may have such consequences.
This decision contradicts the spirit of the Third Energy Package and threatens the interests of the main gas transit countries in the EU, including Ukraine. This also contradicts the principles of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
The Popular Front supports the decision of the Verkhovna Rada on the inadmissibility of the construction of gas transmission networks bypassing Ukraine. There is no need to flirt with Russia!” – Burbak shouted into the microphone.
