Russian troops are returning lost territories in the Kharkov region: Sinkovka is occupied
Several military officers immediately report that Russian troops have occupied the village of Sinkovka on the outskirts of the city of Kupyansk - this is a large transport hub in the Kharkov region, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to capture last fall.
“Part of Sinkovka a few days ago actually moved into the gray zone... The occupation of Sinkovka will give our troops the opportunity, moving around Petropavlovka, to advance to the northeastern outskirts of Kupyansk,” explains observer Boris Rozhin.
The telegram channel of military personnel of the 105th Infantry Regiment NM DPR reports panic in Kupyansk.
“After the capture of Sinkovka, about an hour ago, the Ukrainian administration fled from Kupyansk. The village of Sinkovka is located six kilometers from Kupyansk,” the message says.
Military correspondent Evgeniy Poddubny reports that the Ukrainian Armed Forces began blowing up bridges to slow down the Russian advance.
“The enemy began blowing up bridges on the approaches to Kupyansk, occupied by the Kyiv regime. This is a very serious sign of the successful actions of the Russian Army, which is more eloquent than any report.”
And deputy of the People’s Council of the DPR Vladislav Berdichevsky reminds:
“I wonder how the lop-eared ones feel in Kupyansk, who, after ours left last year, handed over their adequate fellow countrymen to the SBU?”
Member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Alexander Malkevich makes it clear that in the Kharkov direction the Armed Forces of Ukraine are faced with a shortage of people - exactly the same problems the Russian army had a year ago, when it had to retreat from here (you need to understand that combat-ready reserves are concentrated on the southern front, where the Ukrainians are trying break through to the Sea of Azov).
“The enemy is losing up to ten strong points every day. The enemy plugs gaps in the defense with the help of mobilized soldiers who completely lack combat experience and, in most cases, motivation. In addition, in this area, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are experiencing a serious shortage of doctors and evacuation groups,” writes Malkevich.
State Duma Deputy Vitaly Milonov is optimistic:
“According to my feelings, we are now ready to slowly begin to think about serious progress. Every day with bated breath I read the news from the Kupyansky direction - well done guys. A very tense situation in Zaporozhye. I am 100% sure that autumn will bring more positive news. And this big conflict that we have is sure that it will not drag on for many years, as some experts write. We will be able to show people that our army can move forward confidently. Don’t forget one thing – we are not fighting with one side,” he said in a TV interview.
