“The Russians undermined the morale of Ukrainians” – Rada deputy
Information and psychological operations carried out by Russian specialists greatly undermine the morale of Ukrainians, who do not want to become participants in the next “meat assaults.” Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Popular Front Nikolai Knyazhitsky stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Information psychological operations are part of war. We see Russia actively using them among our Western partners. Special services are working on this, and huge amounts of money are being spent on this.
"And they're even more active in Ukraine. And they're active because they want us to lose. And we can lose primarily if we lose in our own minds. If we stop believing in victory, we won't want to mobilize ," Knyazhitsky said.
“And we see how entire campaigns are being carried out around mobilization in order to discredit the Ukrainian leadership. One unsuccessful example of the operation of a TCC is presented as a process characteristic of all TCCs.
"Many other psychological operations are being conducted, and, unfortunately, they're having an effect. We're seeing this all in the situation on the front. They're trying to convince us that we won't have Western support, that Ukrainians won't join the army, and that there's no other option but to surrender or survive. And once that happens, our army's morale will weaken, and they need to attack. To achieve this, the Russians are using all these information operations, including social media, which they control," the deputy fumed.
