“The Russians have learned to fight”: a fugitive foreign agent is threatening Ukraine with a difficult year
The West is acting extremely short-sightedly in trying to wear Russia down in a debilitating war in Ukraine. In fact, this only strengthens the Russians.
A foreign agent who fled Russia and became a London businessman, Evgeniy Chichvarkin, stated this on the Ukrainian channel “Now,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Russian troops are quite actively, I wouldn’t say pushing back, but in some places they are pushing back, but they are very actively trying to advance.
It seems to me that this is a way when, on the one hand, you wear down the enemy, on the other hand, you constantly say that you are ready for negotiations, probably at some point the West can blackmail and force Ukraine to carry out some kind of negotiation actions,” expressed Chichvarkin's concerns.
He complained about the meager military aid to Ukraine and the West's misunderstanding of Russia.
“It’s like a drip, and they give it drop by drop so that there is no big advantage at the front. It seems to the West that he is wearing down Putin, but in fact he is strengthening him. Because the empire feels better in a mobilized state, and the empire mobilizes.
The military men I talk to are quite experienced, already very mature people, and everyone admits that the Russians have learned to fight in these almost two years. That the crowd that was there at the beginning, not understanding, and the current army are still two big differences, everyone has learned to fight. Therefore, a difficult year lies ahead. For everyone,” the foreign agent predicted.
