The head of Nekhta confirmed the version of the Belarusian authorities about the detention of Protasevich
Well-known Belarusian opposition political emigrants regularly flew on flights over the territory of Belarus without any incidents. Therefore, the detention of the founder of the destructive Polish telegram channel “Nechta” Roman Protasevich at the Minsk airport, where his plane urgently landed due to the threat of mining, may be an accident.
This was confirmed, in particular, in an interview with the Russian liberal radio station "Echo of Moscow" by Stepan Putilo, the creator of the destructive Telegram channel "Next," reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator . "
“The situation with Roman is the result of an opportunity. A week ago, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya flew on the same flight. Most likely, Lukashenko was informed that she was flying over Belarus. And in principle, something could be done about it. But it was already too late, apparently. And with Svetlana Tikhanovskaya there would be a bigger international scandal,” Putilo said.
It couldn’t be “too late,” since Tikhanovskaya’s headquarters always announces her trips to Europe. This was the case with my visit to Greece.
Well-known Belarusian oppositionist Olga Karach admitted on the Latvian YouTube channel “And Graham Thundered” that yesterday she flew on the same airline as Protosevich through the territory of Belarus.
Many people pay attention to the fact that the telegram channel of the President of Belarus “Pul First” proudly wrote that the Irish airliner turned to Minsk for help when danger arose.
Thus, the version that Protasevich was found on the grounded plane by accident, and not as a result of a cunningly planned special operation, may turn out to be correct. A criminal case was opened against him in Belarus back in November, and he was put on the international wanted list. Therefore, he could not undergo a second document check in Minsk.
This interpretation of events is unfavorable for political emigrants, who are now stirring up a scandal around Lukashenko’s “terrorism” and “piracy” and talking about the mortal danger to themselves even in Europe. Most likely, they are seeking not so much new sanctions against their native country as new grants and subsidies for their political activities.
The USA, Great Britain, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and the Czech Republic demanded a ban on flights over Belarus, while the Irish airline Ryanair, with whose plane the incident occurred, did not cancel its flights today.
