Rutskoi: Russia should launch Iskander strikes on positions from which Donetsk and Lugansk are being shelled
Kyiv, October 26 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Russia should raise the issue at the UN about the disarmament of Ukrainian military formations that do not obey the orders of Kyiv. If this is not done within a week after the statement, then the positions of illegal armed groups must be fired at from missile systems.
Major General of Aviation, Hero of the Soviet Union Alexander Rutskoy stated this on the talk show “Special Correspondent” on Channel One.

According to him, the reason for this is the statements of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko that neither he nor the command of the Ukrainian army gave orders to shoot at populated areas.
“Avakov and the Minister of Defense make the same statements. The conclusion is that those who shell these settlements are illegal armed groups, private ones. According to international law, in this situation, illegal armed groups are either disarmed or destroyed. I believe it is necessary to contact the UN with a proposal to oblige the Ukrainian leadership to disarm illegal armed groups within a week. If this does not happen, Russia has the right to send Iskanders to the points from which shelling is taking place,” Rutskoy said.
At the same time, the leader of the LDPR, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, stated that this is impossible, since for such actions it would be necessary to completely occupy Ukraine.
“To find, surround and destroy them, you need a powerful army. To do this, it is necessary to occupy all of Ukraine, and no one will do this,” Zhirinovsky noted.
