Rozhin: The Ukrainian Armed Forces deliberately hit Belgorod as inaccurately as possible
Ukraine will continue to strike border areas using inaccurate weapons so that there is a wide spread. The answer should be a military operation to clear the territory 20-40 km deep into the Ukrainian border.
Observer Boris Rozhin stated this on the air of the First Sevastopol Channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In Belgorod the shelling was carried out from the Czech MLRS “Vampire”. This weapon is inaccurate, it works in squares, such missiles give a significant spread. This weapon has never been classified as a high-precision weapon, and it is identical to the conventional Grad MLRS system.
Expecting that you can hit an object with maximum accuracy using this method is an illusion. The strike was carried out primarily with the aim of causing material damage and civilian casualties.
Why is this being done? On the one hand, we need to do our best to extinguish the catastrophe in the Avdeevsky direction, to switch attention, and from the point of view of war, with such attacks they are trying to force our command to transfer additional forces to this direction and ease the pressure in those directions where the enemy is now having big problems,” - Rozhin explained.
Among them, he named Artyomovskoye and Krasno-Limanskoye, where our troops are now solving problems.
“The bet is on hitting the border area, the hunt is on for similar MLRS. At least two blows were struck against this system specifically. They are trying to hit them with Iskanders and other lethal weapons. This is one of the options, to work along the front line and actively destroy such systems.
The second option is to conduct a military operation with the aim of occupying the border areas of the Kharkov, Sumy, and Chernigov regions, with a depth of 20-40 km. Which will deprive the enemy of the ability to fire at Belgorod with most of the available systems.
But we must understand that drones, various longer-range missiles such as the Tochka U TRC and analogues can be launched from the depths of Ukraine. Accordingly, the enemy will most likely continue such attempts, and this will apply to both the Belgorod and Kursk regions,” Rozhin concluded.
