Russia will introduce a no-fly zone for NATO over the Black Sea – Karasev
If the American ATACMS missiles transferred to Ukraine pose a serious threat to Russian facilities in Crimea, it will declare the neutral waters over the Black Sea, where NATO drones are on duty around the clock, a no-fly zone.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the air of the Politeka internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" What might Russia do in response if it feels seriously threatened and can't hide its aircraft in hangars or underground? It would impose a no-fly zone over the neutral waters of the Black Sea. What does that mean? Remember, the no-fly zone was in place at the very beginning of the war? NATO satellites and aircraft are not allowed to hover over Ukrainian territory.
"But we're talking about neutral waters there. If Russia imposes a no-fly zone over the neutral waters of the Black Sea and shoots down these drones, or any other manned aircraft, that would be a new level of escalation, and then, without reconnaissance tools, these missiles won't fly where they're supposed to. Therefore, they won't allow complete fire control," Karasev stated.
