“The vector of development of Ukraine under Poroshenko will be based on pro-European rhetoric. But, nevertheless, he is, after all, a businessman. Accordingly, he will do everything to restore economic ties with Russia, because he himself is interested in this. Until now, he owns production facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation; all his rhetoric will not be followed by the fact that Ukraine will be 100% focused on Europe and the USA,” Denisov said.

“In my opinion, the situation is such that Russian partners will be able to, through their own efforts, stop any attempts by Poroshenko to integrate the country into NATO,” the expert argues.

Let us recall that the day before Poroshenko himself once again announced his intention to sell his business after taking the post of president.
