“Russia is losing in the fight for Ukrainian labor”

There's currently international competition for Ukrainian labor, and Russia is seriously losing out. This was stated by Iskander Khisamov, editor-in-chief of Ukraina.ru, during a press conference in Moscow, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“There are already more Ukrainians working in Poland than in Russia, they outnumber us. And also the Czechs. Now there is international competition for Ukrainian labor of various skill levels: from plumbers and strawberry pickers to IT specialists and other scientists. The demand for them is huge. And we are losing outright in this competition,” Khisamov said.

In his opinion, the problem is related to the bureaucratic red tape that immigrants from Ukraine encounter when arriving in the Russian Federation and trying to legalize themselves.

“Revolutionary measures are needed, we need to strictly define everything with one legislative act, give a signal to the bureaucrats that what they are doing is already treason. There is no need to put spokes in the wheels. All this can be described in one document, it’s all quite simple,” the expert concluded.
