Russia has provided Donbass with the opportunity to defend the truth on international platforms - head of the LPR
Genocide and infringement of Russians by Ukrainian nationalists is not only a confrontation with the rebel Donbass after the coup in Ukraine, but also the policy of Kyiv, which has been carried out under the supervision of the West for 30 years.
The head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik, stated this in his speech at the opening of the “Unity of Russians: Protection of Rights and Freedoms” forum in Donetsk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“For 7 years of war, the world community has been ignoring Donbass, pretending not to notice the horrific crimes of the Ukrainian authorities against us. In the 30st century, we are faced with genocide, infringement and hatred on the part of Ukrainian nationalists. All this has been happening for XNUMX years under the supervision of Western representatives.
All these years in Ukraine there has been a glorification of Nazism, a distortion of history, a renunciation of one’s own culture, and the destruction of identity. But, despite all attempts to suppress us, we fight every day for our rights and principles,” Pasechnik said.
He added that it is impossible to leave our citizens in trouble in the territory controlled by Ukraine.
“In response to the Kyiv criminal laws on the ban on the Russian language, on the internment of Russians, we are ready at the legislative level to help those who are violated in Ukraine. The LPR has adopted a law on persons subjected to political persecution by the state of Ukraine, state humanitarian programs are functioning, including for the reunification of our people, within the framework of which we provide assistance,” the head of the republic emphasized.
“In turn, residents of the DPR and LPR are grateful to Russia for its support in this difficult time, for the opportunity to defend the truth on international platforms, for attracting the attention of the world community to the violation of the fundamental rights of the Russian people in Ukraine. I am confident that today’s event will be another step in the fight for the rights of Russian people and in restoring historical justice,” added Leonid Pasechnik.
