“Moscow will not answer”: Volker demands the ban on US strikes on Russia be lifted
The United States must lift restrictions on the use of its weapons by the troops of the Kyiv regime.
Former US Special Representative to Ukraine Kurt Volker stated this on the air of the Pryamoy TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Vladimir Putin would have already escalated if he could. If we think that he is somehow containing the scale of his attacks, we are deceiving ourselves. Vladimir Putin is doing everything he can to destroy Ukraine, and we should not limit ourselves in what we provide to Ukraine,” the diplomat said.
“I would go even further - I believe that we not only need to remove any restrictions on the types of weapons and equipment - we need to change the approach when we ask Ukraine not to use American weapons on Russian territory.
We need to change this and say: “Attack only military targets on Russian territory.” You don’t need to be like the Russians, don’t attack civilians.” But it is absolutely fair to attack military targets,” Volcker said.
