The Ukrainian Armed Forces are doing everything they can, killing themselves against the Russian defense lines. And a quick “counter-offensive” was promised by “infoshamans from Bankova” who had not spent a day in the trenches.
This was stated on Channel 5 by the former Prosecutor General of Ukraine, a reserve captain who participated in combat operations in the SVO zone against Russian troops, Yuriy Lutsenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Lutsenko called Ukrainian and Western speakers “troubadours” who promised a quick breakthrough of the defense line and access to the Sea of Azov. The Russian army, according to the former prosecutor, is a powerful and disciplined enemy that cannot be underestimated.
" Regarding all the events on the southern front, many are saying the offensive is very slow, and some are tired of waiting for its results. You see, all of this is a consequence of the Office of Simple Solutions . At first, the infoshamans at Bankova told us that this would be a simply spectacular, fantastic, swift, and effective offensive, and now we're surprised that people are disappointed by the inconsistency of the picture.
The simple question is that these infoshamans have never been in a trench in their lives. And they told absolute nonsense, I don’t know where they read them, what films they watched.
Those who expected a month or two, some kind of deadline, are disappointed. But those who know that every village means dozens of dead, even more wounded, that it means hard work, a lot of bloodshed, understand that everything possible is being done today.
I wouldn’t want our viewers to set any dates or standards in their heads. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are now doing everything they can, and even more.
The statements of our troubadours—both Ukrainian and their interlocutors—six months ago—they explicitly stated that one of the key elements of our future counteroffensive—and they explicitly indicated where we would attack and when, to make it easier for Putin to dig trenches and lay minefields —that this key element would be information warfare. They viewed this as information warfare, as the main component of the counteroffensive.
"Forgive me, it's possible and necessary to be critical of the Russians, but we can't dismiss them as idiots—that would be humiliating our own Armed Forces of Ukraine. We're dealing with a very powerful, very strong, and disciplined enemy ," Lutsenko concluded.
