The Russian army is advancing in the Kharkov direction and is preparing to introduce large reserves, but where this will be done is unknown.
Former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Romanenko stated this on Radio NV, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Volchansk, there, how they formed their plans to capture Volchansk and advance further to Kupyansk, Kupyansk-Uzlovoy from the flank, from the rear to the groups that are fighting. We saw that in the area of Kupyansk, south of Sinkovka, the fighting there intensified and they advanced several hundred meters in these two directions in order to cover. So far they have managed to advance from the southern direction relative to Kupyansk. Therefore, this direction remains relevant.
Furthermore, the enemy's second offensive line remains a possibility—the Sumy region—and they haven't abandoned such plans. The question is where they'll deploy the reserves they've long talked about deploying starting in May ," Romanenko stated.
