Russia is ready to transfer to Ukraine all military equipment remaining in Crimea. Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this today at a meeting with the chief editors of Russian media, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“As you know, in 2014 we began the transfer of military equipment and equipment. Several trains were sent from Crimea to Ukraine. The Ukrainian side has repeatedly raised the issue of the return of military equipment. I will take this opportunity to say that we are ready to continue this process. We are ready to transfer the warships that Ukraine still has, aviation equipment, and armored vehicles. True, she is all in a deplorable state. But this is no longer our business. This is practically the state she was in,” Putin said.
According to him, we are talking about dozens of ships and combat aircraft. The President promised to help Ukrainian sailors organize transportation to Odessa.
“There is also a significant amount of ammunition. But, according to our military experts, it cannot be transported. Is it dangerous. It must be disposed of locally. We are ready to invite the Ukrainian military to take part in the disposal,” Putin said.
The transfer of Ukrainian equipment was stopped in the summer of 2014, when hostilities intensified in the Donbass.
