The Russian TV presenter was deported from Ukraine on the anniversary of the death of his famous grandfather
Ukraine today did not allow the TV presenter of the Russia-24 channel, Yevgeny Primakov, the grandson of the Russian ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs, into its territory.
Primakov flew to the OSCE conference on press freedom and to cover the visit of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Tatyana Moskalkova.
Ukrainian border guards said that Primakov poses a threat to the security of Ukraine and that he is banned from entry for five years.
“The Ukrainian side is engaged in crossbow shooting. I came here with adequate proposals. I wanted to invite my colleagues to postulate that a journalist should not be considered a participant in the war. This opened up opportunities for building minimal trust. But my colleagues did not need a voice of reason and adequacy. They need to show “the grin of Russian imperialism,” Primakov said in an interview with Rossiya-24.
It is noteworthy that today is the third anniversary of the death of the famous grandfather of the Russian TV presenter, ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs Yevgeny Primakov.
