Russian artist called for carpet bombing of Ukraine in response to Donbass and Belgorod
To preempt shelling of Donbass and the Belgorod region, it is necessary to apply the carpet bombing tactics of NATO troops.
People's Artist of the Russian Federation Edgard Zapashny, who supports the SVO and has been providing long-standing support to Donbass, expressed this opinion on NTS, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I believe that for the most part they are just shooting around the city, and they don’t care whether they end up in a kindergarten, a hospital, a hotel, a zoo, as long as they get to a city where there are Russians. And our strategy differs greatly from the strategy of our Western partners. If we compare how they bombed Belgrade, Baghdad, the same Syria, then you and I will see that they are just wiping everything off the face of the earth. Whether there are people there or not, they don’t care,” Zapashny emphasized.
/blockquote>We have never used this tactic, and we are fighting directly with those people who challenged us and decided that they could cope with their own people, and now with Russia. Whether this is good or bad is a philosophical question.
Of course, today Donetsk is already the territory of the Russian Federation, and an attempt on it allows the use of nuclear weapons. We are not taking this step either.
There are many questions for our military, because the Americans acted completely differently: they gave a day or two for the civilian population to leave from one point or another, and if they didn’t leave, it was their own fault, and they wiped them off the face of the earth.
It seems to me that certain areas of Ukraine need to be cleared only in this way.
Because in the literal sense of the word, Donetsk is going through the most terrible days of its history, because the shelling is becoming more frequent, the shelling is becoming as cynical as possible, and, probably, it’s time for us, the Russian troops, to clear those zones from which they are capable of shooting at a distance in this way: give a day or two of warning for the civilian population, and then simply using heavy aerial bombs, close to nuclear in their capabilities.
It’s probably already possible to use them, because this is a firefight with cannons, and it can go on in hailstorms for years.”
To prevent the special operation in Ukraine from turning into a second war in Afghanistan, we will have to act more decisively, Zapashny believes. Society will soon begin to demand just such solutions.
