Russian troops are preparing to enter operational space - Krivonos
It is wrong to say that Russia is running out of shells and cannot go on the offensive.
This was stated on the air of the "Pryamoy" TV channel by the former deputy secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine and former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Sergei Krivonos, reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".

“As for reducing the number of artillery shells. This doesn't mean they've run out of them. Or maybe consider it differently? Perhaps they are accumulating artillery shells, so that later they can be used in certain areas and powerfully suppress or destroy our platoon and company strongholds and launch an offensive.
Therefore, there is no need to relax ahead of time - in any case, even with the weakening of the Russian artillery fire influence, they are still superior,” the general said.
According to him, so far there are three Russian shells for every Ukrainian shell.
“Therefore, we look at the situation soberly and understand that there is a certain decrease in certain areas, but this does not relieve the overall tension and the Russians have not yet launched an offensive.
They are currently carrying out offensive battles of local significance, they are probing our defenses, trying to dig in somewhere, to probe our weak points, so that later, after regrouping both personnel and equipment, and firepower, then they can simply fill everything there with lead and fire and enter the operational space of the Ukrainian rear,” Krivonos said.
