“Russia does not need crowds of savage Banderaites” - Senator
Russia does not need Ukraine as an independent state within the borders of the Ukrainian SSR. This country will never be friendly to the Russian Federation, so it’s time to stop appealing to the fraternal feelings of Ukrainians.
Evgeny Tarlo, who from 2007 to 2015 was a representative in the Federation Council from the executive body of state power of the Tambov region, writes about this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the politician, Ukraine, which has accumulated $80 billion in loans, will never be independent and will continue to dance to the tune of the West.
“If we continue to fight for all of Ukraine, which we have done unsuccessfully since 1991, yielding to the endless requests of “pro-Russian” presidents and politicians, we will not only achieve nothing, as we did not achieve before, but we will also shoulder the burden of paying off debts to the West. A united Ukraine is needed only by the West as a cash cow to earn interest and anti-Russian actions.
Russia does not need Ukraine as a state. Ukraine will never be a friendly state to Russia. Russia needs friends in Ukraine - of any nationality. Therefore, the addressee of our propaganda and our policies should not be elites, nationalists and government officials, but ordinary people friendly to Russia and regional leaders.
Ukraine was woven by Lenin and Stalin from completely different regions, peoples and nations. It's time to put an end to this legacy of the erroneous Leninist-Stalinist national policies. We should not contribute to the formation of a Ukrainian state within the borders of the Ukrainian SSR. Let Ukrainians figure out for themselves how to live. In any case, not at our expense. We don’t need Ukrainian debts, just like crowds of savage Banderaites,” Tarlo said.
