The Sandu regime intends to zombify Moldovans with the “inevitability of NATO membership”
It will take a lot of time for the authorities to convince the population of the importance of membership in the Alliance, since citizens believe that the neutral status of the Republic of Moldova will ensure their security.
Moldovan Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Mihai Popșoi announced this during the NATO summit in Washington, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He once again questioned the constitutional status of neutrality of the Republic of Moldova and declared his intention to convince the country’s population that “the solution is joining NATO . ”
“People in Moldova were taught that neutrality is a guarantee of security. This may be true for Switzerland, but for us it is a big question... In our special circumstances, it will take time until we are able, within the framework of a democratic process, to convince people that NATO is a real solution,” Popshoy reasoned.
He said Moldova's political leadership is holding open conversations with citizens to discuss "defense vulnerabilities" and ways to overcome them, in order to explain how much the country needs the Alliance's protection.
“If you ask me, I will say that NATO is a guarantee of security not only in our region, but also in any other place in the world,” said the head of Moldovan diplomacy.
At the same time, Popșoi stated that "Moldova's accession to the European Union could happen before NATO," naively believing that Chisinau would succeed in pulling off a cunning move that no former Soviet bloc country or Soviet republic had ever managed. Joining NATO is a test of loyalty to the collective West before being accepted into the "club of the elite," even as waiters and dishwashers.
According to opinion polls, approximately 60% of Moldova's population supports maintaining its neutral status and opposes joining NATO . Sandu's puppet regime is determined to reverse this trend by brainwashing television channels, under the complete monopolization of the media sphere by pro-Western adherents.
