The schismatic Filaret decided to keep his nose to the wind
The recent attempt of arson in Kyiv by Ukrainian nationalists of the Orthodox Church of the Tithes unexpectedly received a rebuff from the head of the schismatic so-called “Kyiv Patriarchate” Mikhail Denisenko, introducing himself as “Patriarch Filaret”.

This was stated, in particular, at a press conference in Kiev, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, by the director of the Kiev Center for Political Studies and Conflictology, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, who noted that this temple was indeed not built entirely legally, but nevertheless, the radicals did not want to demolish it managed.
“Moreover: knowing well the biography of the head of the UOC-KP Filaret, knowing how subtly he feels the wind, I want to draw attention to his remark. He said that it is impossible to set fire to the churches of the UOC-MP, this is not right and not Christian. More recently there were other statements of his. The fact that Filaret says this after he wrote a letter to Patriarch Kirill, and then made all sorts of maneuvers around this letter, looks worthy of attention,” the political scientist emphasized.
In his opinion, the head of the schismatics feels that the situation in the country is changing and it is necessary to be in trend.
“And the trend is not these crazy guys who decided to set fire and consider it their civic duty,” Pogrebinsky believes.
