“Villages are burning, cities are freezing.” Ukraine faces communal hell
If Russia blocks gas transit through the Ukrainian gas transportation system, Ukraine will not be able to distribute its own produced gas throughout the country.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Communist Party Spiridon Kilinkarov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If Russia nevertheless reduces or stops the gas supply altogether, which I don’t want to believe, but, nevertheless, if it stops the gas supply through the gas transportation system, we will not even be able to distribute the Ukrainian produced gas throughout Ukraine. To do this, you need to create a certain pressure in all these systems.
And regarding Avakov, who says that they can blow up a pipe there - have you ever seen this, how main gas pipelines explode? I saw this in the city of Lugansk. This is generally a terrible sight, villages are burning and much more.
Have you ever seen a frozen city? And I saw it in Alchevsk, when the city of 100 people froze. Do you even understand what and with what baggage we go out into the autumn-winter period?” – Kilinkarov expressed his concerns.
As a reminder, a number of experts previously agreed that, while speaking about the danger of explosions at the gas transmission system, Ukrainian Interior Minister Avakov himself could stage these terrorist attacks in order to create yet another pretext for blaming Russia.
It was also noted that, in any case, Avakov will have to protect Ukraine's gas transmission system from terrorist attacks , first and foremost, from his protégés, who have repeatedly threatened to blow up the pipeline.
