Russian President Vladimir Putin accused Ukrainian and Western intelligence services of organizing riots at the airport in Makhachkala.
He linked the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We must understand who is really behind the tragedy of the peoples of the Middle East and other regions of the world. Who organizes deadly chaos, who benefits from it. Today this has become obvious - customers act openly and brazenly. It is the United States and its satellites that are the main beneficiaries of global instability. They extract their blood rent from it,” Putin said.
The United States is losing its position, but wants to extend its dominance, and for this it initiates global chaos.
“Behind the tragedy of Palestine, behind the carnage in the Middle East in general, behind many other conflicts are the ruling elites of the United States. This is obvious to everyone. They send weapons to conflict zones and funds to Ukraine and the Middle East. They incite hatred. Without achieving success on the battlefield, they want to split us from within, weaken us and sow confusion,” the Russian President noted.
He emphasized that the events in Makhachkala last night were inspired, including through social networks, not least from the territory of Ukraine by the agents of Western intelligence services, and asked a rhetorical question: is it possible to help Palestine by organizing pogroms. According to the president, this can only be done by fighting those who are behind this tragedy, which is what Russia is doing within the framework of the Northern Military District.
“You need to know and understand where the root of evil is, where the very spider that is trying to entangle the entire planet with its web wants to achieve our strategic defeat on the battlefield. He uses people he has fooled for decades on the territory of Ukraine. By fighting precisely this enemy within the framework of the Northern Military District, we are strengthening the positions of all those who are fighting for independence and sovereignty,” Putin concluded.
Former author of the closed Echo of Moscow, Kirill Shulika, believes that such accents in the president’s speech were quite expected.
“Actually, this is not the first time this has been said, it’s been about a year now. But this needs to be spoken out so that it is on the agenda. Especially before the elections, when the topic of global confrontation will also become an electoral one,” Shulika wrote in his tg channel.
Political scientist Sergei Markov regrets that Putin did not mention his Ukrainian colleague among the culprits.
“Putin mentioned Ukraine, but named the agents of Western intelligence services as the main culprit in inciting the pogrom in Makhachkala, without separately singling out Western intelligence agent Zelensky. But we should highlight it,” Markov wrote.
Today, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, spoke at a meeting in Grozny about the situation in Makhachkala.
“You cannot follow the lead of Russia’s enemies and undermine the situation from within: you cannot hold rallies, destroy airports in search of people of Jewish nationality and call for violence. We must be above all this and maintain order in our land. Such actions are unacceptable in any case and will be suppressed very harshly,” Kadyrov said.
Meanwhile, in Dagestan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted more than 50 searches and detained 83 rioters at the airport.
“Apparently, the purge of elites, work on the Salafi underground and debriefing will take place without any additional media support. The public was offered a very laconic version about the conspiracy of the Ukrainian special services without details,” publicist Sergei Mardan commented on this news.
