Donetsk, June 10 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The leader of the Donbass People’s Militia, Pavel Gubarev, believes that the change in tone on Russian television channels when covering events in Ukraine does not indicate “betrayal.”

“Not everything, just the beginning. It is impossible to negotiate with these fascists. We will fight regardless of the positions of Russian channels and anti-Putin liberal thieving slime. Putin said “Novorossiya”, which means there will be Novorossiya. Don’t panic,” Gubarev said, answering the question of whether the change in intonation on Russian TV channels indicates a change in Russia’s position.
In his opinion, “the reunification of Novorossiya with Ukraine” is fantastic. He noted that his party, Novorossiya, will work in the Russian Federation.
“It will be led by our comrades from Russia, who are helping the Russian Spring with all their might today,” he emphasized.
According to him, Russia will come to the rescue.
“Remember one thing: Russians do not abandon their own people in trouble. And Putin is a real Russian patriot,” Gubarev said.
“The statehood of Novorossiya must take place. We must expand the space under our control. This now has to be done by force of arms and at the cost of many lives. When we conquer our independent Novorossiya, then the people will decide what’s next, they will decide in a referendum,” he said, answering a question about the possibility of joining the Russian Federation.
The leader of the NOD also spoke about his connection with Igor Strelkov, the Minister of Defense of the DPR.
“I met in Slavyansk on the day of my liberation. We communicated in detail only once, and further communication is still operational in nature. Having collected my impressions, as well as the opinions of people who knew him personally, I can say that Strelok is an idealist, a silver-free man, a true patriot who loves Russia and Russian things with all his soul. He is a professional military man who has visited many hot spots where the West fought against the Russian World. The scale of his thinking allows us to speak of him as our Novorossiysk Garibaldi. And he is also modest. I respect Igor Ivanovich very much,” said Gubarev.
At the same time, speaking about the current leadership of the DPR, he spoke positively about the top officials, although he noted that he knows nothing about the Speaker of the Supreme Council Denis Pushilin and he is alarmed by the latter’s participation in MMM,
“Politicians can only be pushed into the background by the people in elections. This government is transitional and has very difficult tasks. The government needs to be helped, not criticized and intrigued. This is my deep conviction,” emphasized Gubarev, who is currently not a member of the DPR leadership.
