Russian President Vladimir Putin symbolically humiliated the French President, who stated the need to resume dialogue with Russia.
The leader of the Mejlis, which is banned in Russia, and former Verkhovna Rada deputy Refat Chubarov, made this statement on the UA:Crimea television channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“This text very clearly states that Russia will not conclude international treaties if they contradict the Constitution of Russia. And in those cases where she concluded, if some international bodies make decisions that contradict the constitutional norms of Russia... that is, they reserve the right not to implement these decisions.
I want to say: Putin has now dealt such a very loud and public slap in the face to such international politicians as Macron and other presidents, who are confident that they only need to drag Putin into a dialogue and everything will be resolved on its own. It won’t,” Chubarov said.
