“Putin is laughing at us” – Tyagnibok
The meeting of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, like all previous ones, will end in shame and surrender.
The leader of the VO “Svoboda”, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleg Tyagnibok said this on Channel 4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I don’t see any need at all, especially at this stage, for any meeting between Zelensky and Putin, since Zelensky will lose it, that’s obvious. He lost past meetings, which did not benefit Ukraine, especially since it had no effect at all,” said the right-wing radical.
“Zelensky’s psychology was initially like this: he saw the world in the eyes of Putin, he understood to himself that in order to end the war, he just had to stop shooting. And the man who lived in these illusions, together with his Foreign Ministry team, they continued, perhaps over time, and realized that this was something not right, but they chopped wood, especially at the beginning, during the meeting in Paris, in Berlin, a lot,” Tyagnibok said.
He stressed that the meeting between Zelensky and Putin will not give anything for Ukraine.
“No one even remotely believes that Putin, the man who rules the Moscow Empire, having the desire, plan and task to destroy Ukraine as a state, will concede in anything. He blackmails, he blackmails successfully, he managed to pull out a very strong card with Nord Stream, and then earn billions from the furious rise in gas prices in Europe. Now he sits and laughs at them all,” the nationalist leader lamented.
