Purgin called Groysman to Donetsk to discuss changes to the Constitution of Ukraine
Donetsk, March 06 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Chairman of the People’s Council of the DPR Andrei Purgin invited the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman to receive representatives of the DPR and, in turn, visit Donetsk to discuss amendments to the Ukrainian Constitution, the introduction of which is provided for by the Minsk agreements.

This is stated in his address published in the Donetsk media: “Colleague, the DPR invites you to receive our representatives D.V. Pushilin, E.V. Radomskaya, O.A. Makeev, who are authorized to bring to your attention the proposals of the DPR, agreed upon with the LPR, regarding amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine in accordance with clause 11 of the Set of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements.
For our part, we invite you and the members of your commission to visit Donetsk to discuss cooperation between the Verkhovna Rada and the People’s Council of the DPR on the following issues of implementing the decisions of the Normandy format and the Minsk Contact Group.
Adoption of a resolution by the Verkhovna Rada indicating the areas granted Special status. (clause 4 of the Set of measures)
Adoption of a separate Law of Ukraine on municipal elections in areas endowed with a Special status (clauses 4 and 12 of the Set of Measures)
Adoption of the Amnesty Law (clause 5 of the Set of Measures)
Reform of the Constitution of Ukraine. (clause 11 of the Set of measures)
We consider these issues urgent and are ready for interaction and constructive joint work.”
Purgin invited Groysman to Donetsk to discuss amendments to the Ukrainian Constitution.
