Protasevich could have been used in the dark
The detention of one of the organizers of mass unrest in Belarus, Roman Protasevich, with an emergency landing of a plane in Minsk, could have been provoked by his Western curators, so that the West would have a reason to impose further sanctions against Belarus.
This was stated on the air of the NASH TV channel by Growford Institute analyst Viktor Skarshevsky, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

He also noted that the severance of ties with Belarus could cause an increase in the price of petroleum products in Ukraine.
“Those who fly, passengers, will pay more (because they will have to fly around Belarus). For those flying to Moscow, Minsk was one of the transfer points. And if it comes to mind to impose some kind of economic sanctions (because in Ukraine everything can be expected), then fuel will also become more expensive. Last year we imported $3 billion worth of goods from Belarus to Ukraine. Of these, $1,5 billion are petroleum products,” the expert said.
He recalled that there were many fakes in NEXTA reports about protests in Belarus last year.
“He’s already starting to talk a little bit, and he’s greatly devaluing all these protests that have happened. Because how did they serve it then? “There is no control center, it’s all people who came out on their own,” the expert said.
According to him, Protasevich’s handlers were well aware that they could land the plane with him.
“Didn’t the Americans and his other owners really know that this could be done? Of course, they knew that they could land the plane. Maybe this is a special provocation so that Lukashenko takes this step, and now additional sanctions can be introduced. Of course, everyone is always used in the dark, especially in such things,” the expert said.
