First of all, the engine is a turbofan, dual-circuit, with a high compression ratio. A new generation of fuel automatics has been installed. The engine has become less noisy - 15-20 decibels less than the international ICAO requirements. The emission of nitrogen oxides has decreased - also better than international standards. Fuel consumption was reduced by 15-18%, which made it possible to increase the flight range by about 20%, or even 25%,” the expert said.
He also noted that the wing is made entirely of composite materials.
“Advanced technology is used - a huge monolithic product is obtained as a result of stamping, assembly and processing are minimal. The Americans' eyes widened when they saw how this was done at the Ulyanovsk Aviastar enterprise. The States also have such technologies, but they are used for smaller products.
