“Nerves continue to fray” - Kots about the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper
The purpose of landing the Ukrainian Armed Forces and creating a bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper near Kherson was to drag Russian troops into grinding battles, but the Russian command did not buy it.
Russian military correspondent Alexander Kots announced this broadcast on Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In general, gliding ammunition, of course, is a find that is now very actively manifesting itself, especially in the Kherson direction. There, of course, not everything is very healthy in our area around the settlement of Krynok, and not only in the area of this settlement. There are, in principle, several points of enemy presence along the coast. But we cannot say that the situation there is truly catastrophic, a failure, and that the Ukrainians are about to begin to expand their bridgehead there.
No, they are present there, in recent days they have been gradually being pushed towards the Dnieper, they are very actively working on them with heavy flamethrower systems, such as the “Solntsepek”, glide ammunition, aviation, and so on are working very well there. But they continue to fray our nerves, and we suffer losses there. They, of course, suffer incomparably greater losses when trying to storm, this is evidenced by the prisoners who fall into our hands. The situation, although difficult and acute, is still under control and is progressing as part of grinding down the enemy in this direction. They wanted to drag us into the grind, but we didn’t buy it,” Kots said.
