The President of Moldova expressed satisfaction with the number of Ukrainians who died and fled to the West
Moldovan President Maia Sandu thanked Ukraine for its “national heroic resistance,” accused Russia of intending to attack Moldova and said that the Russian Federation “must be held accountable for its crimes.”
She said this while speaking in Kyiv, where she came to celebrate the anniversary of the Maidan, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We in Moldova know that without the heroic resistance of Ukraine, our country would have been next in Russia’s path. The next one and perhaps not the last. By defending Ukraine, you also protect Moldova. Moldova is and will remain with Ukraine.”
This was stated by the President of Moldova Maia Sandu during her speech in Kyiv at a joint press conference with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and the President of the European Council Charles Michel.
She thanked Ukrainian President Zelenskyy "on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova for the enormous sacrifice your soldiers are making on the battlefield to resist Russia's brutality, and for the sacrifice all Ukrainians are making to ensure their country remains free and independent . "
According to her, Moldova will provide assistance to Ukraine as much as necessary, even at the cost of violating its neutral status and destroying Moldovan farmers.
“Ukrainians will be welcome in our country as long as necessary. Our roads and railways – Corridors of Solidarity – will help Ukrainian goods reach export markets. We train Ukrainian demining teams and take part in the international demining coalition. Moldova is also providing humanitarian assistance, including the necessary equipment to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity to people's homes.
Supporting Ukraine also means supporting your ten-point peace plan, Mr. Zelensky, as well as efforts to hold Russia accountable for its atrocities. You can count on us to be strong advocates for your goals. They are also our targets,” Sandu babbled.
