Cuban President supported Russia
Cuba strongly condemns Western anti-Russian sanctions.
Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez announced this today in the Russian State Duma, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Cuba vigorously condemns the sanctions that are unilaterally and unfairly imposed against the Russian Federation. The causes of the current conflict must be sought in the aggressive policy of the United States and in the expansion of NATO to the borders of Russia. Cuba has repeatedly and systematically condemned this on international platforms. She advocates a negotiated solution to the current conflict,” Bermudez said.
Currently, Cuba, according to him, is experiencing a difficult economic situation due to a number of factors, mainly of an external nature.
“First of all, we are talking about an unprecedented tightening of the cruel, genocidal policy of the US economic, trade and financial blockade. Every time Cuba faced difficult situations and challenges that seemed impossible to surpass, the generous hand of the Russian Federation was among the first to be sent to us, and thanks to this we were able to surpass all these circumstances, and that is why we feel such warmth towards Russia.” , said the Cuban leader.
